2025 Dog Licenses are available now!

2025 Dog Licenses are available now at the Village Office. The cost is $6.25 per dog. Please bring current rabies vaccination records at the time of licensing.

~Annual Sewer Maintenance~

The Village recommends using Root-X annually, preferably in the fall. We have it for sale here at the Village Office for $25.00 + tax. Call us at 308-394-5390 if you have any questions.

Effective March 13, 2026, Gov. Jim Pillen issued a statewide burn ban, to help reduce the potential for additional wildfires in Nebraska. This burn ban includes outdoor burn barrels here in Wauneta. The governor's executive order prohibiting burning will remain in effect until March 27.
